Founders & Providers
Dr. Gustav Lo, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer and Founder of RegenCen and Cosmetic Skin & Laser Center (CSLC) which he established in 2001 with Courtney Lo, PA. With over 30 years of experience as a physician and a passion for innovation, Dr. Lo has transformed CSLC and RegenCen into a nationally recognized medical practice focused on optimizing healthspan.
Early in his career, Dr. Lo founded Northern Michigan MedCenter, a network of primary care and urgent care centers that he operated for 30 years, during which time the centers provided care to over 1 million patients. His leadership and experience in primary care continue to inform his holistic approach to health and wellness at RegenCen/CSLC.
Driven by his passion for optimizing healthspan and lifespan, Dr. Lo founded RegenCen in 2020, a division of CSLC. At RegenCen he leads and trains a dedicated team of medical professionals in bioidentical hormone therapy, regenerative treatments for arthritis, mobility and pain like PRF injections, NAD+ therapy, and comprehensive weight loss solution.
Dr. Lo remains deeply engaged in every aspect of clinical practice and deeply committed to educating and helping women through midlife and menopause. Spreading the word one community at a time, he enjoys giving lectures, empowering women and sharing clinical proof of BHRT.
Dr. Lo is renowned for offering innovative, nonsurgical cosmetic treatments such as Smartlipo laser-assisted liposuction, nonsurgical facelifts using FaceTite, Laser Lift, and Thread Lift, as well as comprehensive body contouring solutions. Kayla Patnode, PA-C, our CSLC and RegenCen Master Provider, graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in health promotion from Michigan State University. She graduated from Mary Baldwin University, Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences with Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
She worked previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at a nursing home and rehabilitation facility in Lansing, MI and as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a dermatology office in Novi, MI. Kayla completed a PA school rotation in Lansing, MI where she was trained in treating varicose veins, acne, and hormone replacement therapy.
Kayla enjoys helping patients feel more confident and assisting with making their “ideal self” match what they see in the mirror. She loves our regenerative services for helping patients continue to feel like themselves as they move through the journey of life.
Outside of the office, you'll find Kayla waterskiing (she competed on the Michigan State University waterski team for 4 years and was the first female to serve as men’s captain of the team), disc golf, hiking, and camping.
Megan is from Toledo, Ohio and is our Master Regenerative Medicine Provider and Injector in our Ann Arbor office. She graduated with her BSN from The University of Toledo in and started her career as an RN in the ICU at Toledo Hospital. She graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and began pursuing her dream career as an aesthetic nurse practitioner.
She enjoys her career in aesthetic and regenerative medicine because it is the perfect blend of her two passions: the opportunity to take care of aging patients combined with her artistic skills/passion for skincare. Megan loves helping others carry themselves more confidently and feel more beautiful in their own skin.
