What patients say about their experience with Aubrey
Get to know your provider Aubrey
We sat down with Aubrey St Mary, NP-C, to talk about her work as a regenerative and hormone medicine provider in Vero Beach and Hobe Sound, Florida, her unexpected personal experience with NAD+ therapy, and what first drew her to treating patients who look “normal” on paper but still do not feel like themselves.
Tell us a little about yourself. Where do you live, and what do you enjoy outside of work?
I live in Vero Beach, Florida. I grew up here, moved away for college, and came back after having my second daughter. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and going to the beach. Pilates is probably my main hobby right now.
Where did you work before joining RegenCen and CSLC?
I worked in the emergency room for five years, then moved into concierge medicine for about two years. After that, I worked in plastic surgery, where we did a lot of medical weight loss. That experience really sparked my interest in regenerative medicine, obesity medicine, and hormone therapy.
Have you been on your own wellness journey? Have you tried any of the therapies you offer?
Yes, absolutely. I have tried NAD+ therapy, and I honestly do not think I will ever go without it. I originally thought it would help most with energy, but what surprised me was how much it helped my sleep. I have two very young children, and NAD+ helped me sleep through the night and wake up feeling more refreshed. That has been a huge difference-maker for me. I also use PRF with microneedling, and that has become my go-to when my skin feels dull.
What inspired your passion for hormone therapy and regenerative medicine?
Working in obesity medicine showed me how impactful GLP-1 medications could be, but my passion for hormone therapy came from caring for patients who were doing everything right and still did not feel like themselves. Their labs often looked normal, yet they were dealing with fatigue, brain fog, weight changes, and pain. I wanted to move beyond symptom management and focus on identifying and treating the root causes.
What are the most common concerns you hear from patients?
Hot flashes, fatigue or low energy, and weight gain are the top three concerns I hear most often.
Can you share a patient success story that stands out to you?
One patient story that really stuck with me involved a man in his 50s who had just started testosterone pellet therapy. Around six months in, he was doing heavy manual labor, moving boxes for hours during the holidays. He told me he was working alongside someone in their 30s and was running circles around them. He said he felt incredible and wondered why he had waited so long to come in.
Are there any treatments that have surprised you with their results?
NAD+ surprised me with how much it impacts circadian rhythm and sleep quality. Glutathione injections also surprised me with how powerful they are for immune support. Especially during cold and flu season, that is something I strongly recommend to patients.
What is one thing you wish more people understood about regenerative treatments?
I wish people knew they are not doing this alone. We guide patients every step of the way. We answer questions, explain labs, and collaborate with primary care providers when appropriate. Patients are not left in the dark. This is a supported, ongoing process.
How do you hope hormone therapy evolves over the next decade, especially for women?
I hope hormone therapy becomes the standard when patients do not feel like themselves despite normal labs. Instead of immediately prescribing medications with significant side effects, I hope providers first consider hormone changes, including perimenopause, even when symptoms are subtle.
What has been your favorite part about working at RegenCen?
The variety of treatments and the constant learning. I learn something new every day. Being part of this team has also deepened my involvement in menopause education and research in a way I might not have experienced otherwise.
How do aesthetics and regenerative medicine complement each other?
They really go hand in hand. When patients start feeling better internally, their confidence grows. From there, addressing how they look on the outside often feels like a natural extension of that care, and sometimes it happens in the reverse order. Either way, the two support each other beautifully.
What is a common health myth you love busting?
That GLP-1 medications are new. They are not. There are decades of research behind them, even though many people believe they only appeared recently.
And finally, what is your coffee order?
An iced coffee, no matter the weather, with a shot of espresso and pistachio cold foam.
