Get to know your provider Keya

We sat down to talk with Keya Patel, PA-C about her work as a physician assistant across Naples, North Naples, and Sarasota, her creative life outside the clinic, and what continues to surprise her about regenerative medicine. From the subtle power of NAD+ to the moment a skeptical patient becomes a true believer, Keya shares what it really takes to help patients feel better in ways traditional medicine often overlooks.

Tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from and what do you enjoy outside of work?
I was born and raised in New Jersey, and I’ve been in Florida for about eight or nine years now. I currently live in Naples. Outside of work, I love doing artwork. Painting and drawing are big creative outlets for me. I also enjoy relaxing with a good Netflix show and doing some baking when I have the time.

Have you had your own wellness journey with regenerative treatments?
Yes. I’ve tried NAD+, and I’ve also done PRF for acne scarring on the aesthetic side. I haven’t used PRF for hair loss, but with NAD+ I could absolutely tell a difference. I microdosed because I didn’t feel like I needed much. It especially helped after weekends or social events. I felt like myself again the next day, with better energy and clarity.

What inspired your interest in hormone health and regenerative medicine?
What excites me most is being able to offer patients options that aren’t always available in traditional family or internal medicine. Instead of defaulting to prescriptions, we can provide non-invasive, targeted treatments for things like joint pain or sexual health. Giving patients alternatives to conventional approaches has made me much more enthusiastic about this field.

What concerns do you hear most often from patients in your clinics?
In Naples especially, patients are very active. Achy joints are a big concern, particularly knees from pickleball and shoulders. Low energy and low libido also come up frequently. Being able to address those issues directly makes a real difference for people.

You work in both aesthetics and regenerative wellness. How do those areas complement each other?
They really go hand in hand. A patient might come in focused on their face, then notice their hairline or skin texture. Or they’ll mention shoulder pain while we’re discussing aesthetic concerns. It’s nice that we can treat both how patients look and how they feel in the same place. We’re addressing specific areas that bother them, whether that’s pain, energy, or confidence.

Can you share a favorite patient success story?
I had a patient who was very skeptical about PRF joint injections for his knees. He had read conflicting things online and wasn’t sure it would work. We talked through how PRF works and decided to try one treatment. A few weeks later, he came back amazed at how much better his knees felt after just one injection. He was excited to continue and finally understood why it works. Seeing that shift from doubt to relief is incredibly rewarding.

What treatment has surprised you most with its results?
NAD+, especially when patients do it weekly. The improvement in brain fog and energy is huge. Many patients try taking a break just to see if it really makes a difference, and almost all of them come back because they realize how much better they felt on it.

What do you wish more people understood about regenerative treatments?
I wish people realized how different this is from traditional medicine. These treatments aren’t usually offered at a general practitioner’s office, and they’re much more targeted. Instead of a systemic medication, we can focus on exactly what’s bothering you. A lot of what we offer is non-invasive, and it’s worth being open-minded and giving it a try.

How do you see hormone replacement and regenerative medicine evolving for women over the next decade?
It’s definitely going to grow. Women are becoming more open about how they feel, their energy, their sex drive, and how their bodies change with age. There’s more awareness that suffering isn’t the only option. These treatments are becoming more normalized, and I think regenerative medicine for women is only going to continue to expand.

What attracted you to working with RegenCen?
I started purely in aesthetics, and patients would constantly tell me how life-changing hormone pellets were for them. Hearing that while I was treating them made me curious. When I had the opportunity to become a provider on the regenerative side, it felt like a natural next step. I wanted to be part of that transformation, not just hear about it.

Just for fun, what’s your go-to coffee order?
A dirty chai latte. Chai with an extra shot of espresso. It’s my favorite.
