Get to know your provider Stephanie
We sat down with Stephanie Crum, PA-C, to talk about her work in regenerative medicine at RegenCen in North Naples, her go-to oat milk latte order, and why she believes PRF joint injections have been a game changer for both her patients and her own wellness journey.
Can you tell us a little about yourself? Where do you live, and what do you enjoy outside of work?
I live in Naples, Florida, and I love being outside. Fitness is a big part of my life. I do yoga and often go with my fiancé to Spenga, which combines spin, yoga, and HIIT training. I also love traveling and finding new adventures, whether it’s exploring new places or trying out different coffee shops. Right now, I’m in the middle of planning my wedding, which has been exciting (and a little stressful at times!). And at home, I have a one-eyed rescue cat who always makes life interesting.
Before joining RegenCen and CSLC, what kind of work did you do?
I worked in pain management, where I did a lot of joint injections, nerve blocks, and even some minimally invasive surgeries in the OR. I loved the procedural aspect of that work, especially injections, and that’s part of what drew me to aesthetics and regenerative medicine. In pain management, I also treated patients with Botox for migraines, which gave me additional experience with injectables.
Have you personally tried any regenerative treatments?
Yes, I’ve done PRF joint injections in my shoulder. I broke my right shoulder a few years ago, but ironically it’s my left shoulder that always gives me trouble. After a couple rounds of PRF, the pain and mobility improved dramatically—it made such a difference, especially after long days on my feet. Because of my own results, I’m always excited to share that experience with patients.
What inspired your passion for regenerative medicine and hormone health?
For me, it’s about treating the root cause rather than masking symptoms. Whether it’s hormone replacement or joint injections, I love that these therapies aim to correct the underlying issue, not just cover it up with a prescription. That shift from symptom management to real solutions is what keeps me passionate about this field.
What are the most common concerns you hear from patients?
Fatigue, brain fog, and loss of libido are the top three by far.
What advice would you give someone who feels “off” but doesn’t know where to begin?
Start by coming in to talk with a provider. We’ll listen, run labs, and really dive into your symptoms to figure out what’s going on. Having that conversation is the first step to making sense of things and creating a plan forward.
What treatments have surprised you most with their results?
Definitely PRF. It’s incredibly versatile, used in both regenerative medicine and aesthetics, and it uses your own blood products to restore vitality and function. Seeing what it can do for pain relief, healing, and even skin rejuvenation has been amazing.
How do you see regenerative medicine evolving in the next 10 years, especially for women?
I think treatments will become even more personalized and preventative. Research will continue to confirm what we’re already seeing—that these therapies don’t just address current symptoms, they help prevent future issues. I also believe access to hormone replacement will be more widespread for women, so they won’t have to wait as long to receive the care they need.
What’s your favorite part about working at RegenCen?
I was drawn here because RegenCen offers so many treatment modalities aimed at helping patients feel better and get to the true root cause of their concerns. I wanted to be part of a team that values patient outcomes and doesn’t just provide “Band-Aid” fixes.
Last question—what’s your go-to coffee order?
An oat milk latte with cinnamon is my favorite. During fall I switch to pumpkin, and around Christmas I love peppermint mochas. I sometimes even make my own pumpkin creamer at home with oat milk.
