What patients say about their experience with Taylor
Get to know your provider Taylor
We sat down with Taylor Newhart, PA-C, to talk about her work as a regenerative and aesthetic medicine provider at RegenCen in Ann Arbor, her passion for empowering women through hormone health, and the treatment that first surprised her with its life-changing results.
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? Where do you live and what do you enjoy outside of work?
I’m a physician assistant originally from Cleveland, Ohio. I relocated to Michigan a few years ago and currently live in Rochester Hills with my husband and our Golden Doodle, Kaya. I love being outdoors—walking Kaya, going to the dog park, traveling, and cooking are some of my favorite things. Before joining RegenCen, I worked as a PA in family medicine in Detroit.
What sparked your interest in hormone health and regenerative medicine?
During PA school, my very first women’s health rotation exposed me to hormone therapy, including pellet treatments. The physician I worked with had a fellowship in anti-aging and regenerative medicine, and seeing how she helped women navigate menopause was really inspiring. So many symptoms are overlooked during that stage of life, and it felt incredibly rewarding to help patients regain a sense of normalcy and confidence. That experience definitely planted the seed for my passion in this field.
What are some of the most common symptoms patients come to RegenCen for?
The big three would be brain fog, weight-management challenges, and low libido—and those affect both men and women. Many patients tell me they’re doing all the same things they’ve always done with diet and exercise, but their bodies just aren’t responding like they used to.
Can you share a favorite patient success story?
One that stands out is a woman in her 60s who came to our Ann Arbor clinic for weight loss support. She’d survived breast cancer and had been working so hard on her health but couldn’t lose the last 10–20 pounds. After starting our program, she came back in tears—happy tears—saying she finally felt confident again and had even started dating. Seeing that transformation was really special.
You mentioned being surprised by one particular treatment—what was it?
Definitely MorpheusV, one of our women’s wellness and rejuvenation treatments. I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical at first—device-based treatments can vary so much from patient to patient—but I’ve heard incredible feedback from women experiencing real relief from menopausal and urinary symptoms. It’s been amazing to see.
How do you see hormone replacement and regenerative medicine evolving in the next decade?
I hope it becomes more data-driven. There’s still a lot of fear and misinformation out there from outdated studies. As the field grows, I’d love to see more robust research published so that patients—and even providers—can feel more confident in the safety and long-term benefits of HRT.
What drew you to join the RegenCen team?
Honestly, the people. Everyone here is collaborative, compassionate, and truly dedicated to improving our patients’ lives. It’s a fun, uplifting environment, and it’s exciting to be part of something that’s growing and evolving so quickly.
You’re certified in both regenerative and aesthetic medicine. How do those two areas complement each other in your work?
They really go hand in hand. It’s about feeling good from the inside out. I’ve had patients come in for aesthetic treatments and, over time, start exploring hormone therapy or weight-loss support—and vice versa. When you feel good physically, it reflects outward, and when you look refreshed and confident, it boosts how you feel inside. It’s a full-circle approach to self-care.
Just for fun—what’s your coffee (or tea) order?
I’m actually not a coffee drinker! I’m a big tea girl. I love an iced chai or matcha. Although, when I was in Italy, I couldn’t resist trying espresso. I’ll make an exception for Italian coffee!
