What patients say about their experience with Wendy
Get to know your provider Wendy
We sat down with Wendy Najarian, PA-C, at RegenCen in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, to talk about her two decades in medicine, what excites her most about regenerative care, and the remarkable patient stories that remind her why she loves this work.
Tell us a little about yourself outside of work.
I live in Bloomfield Hills, where our RegenCen office is located, which makes it easy to stay connected with the community I serve. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis and golf, and I love to travel with family and friends.
What’s your medical background, and how did you find your way into regenerative medicine?
I’ve been a physician assistant for nearly 20 years, with extensive experience in primary care, medical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology. Before joining RegenCen, I worked for 14 years at an internal medicine practice in Farmington Hills. Over time, I found myself drawn to regenerative medicine because it offers natural, effective ways to help people feel like themselves again.
Have you tried any RegenCen treatments yourself?
Yes. I believe in experiencing treatments firsthand so I can better guide my patients. Being at a stage of life where I share many of the same concerns as my patients, I’ve found it invaluable to try different therapies myself. That relatability makes me both more empathetic and more informed.
What inspired your passion for hormone health and regenerative medicine?
What excites me most is the ability to use the body’s own regenerative potential. Instead of masking symptoms, we can restore balance and function in a more natural way. It’s a growing field of medicine, and I believe it represents the future for both prevention and wellness.
What concerns do you hear most often from patients?
It varies by age, but some of the most common concerns are weight gain (especially around the midsection), hot flashes, brain fog, night sweats, and decreased libido. For women going through perimenopause or menopause, those changes can be incredibly disruptive—and I always remind them they’re not alone.
What advice would you give someone who feels “off” but doesn’t know where to begin?
Start with a consultation. Everyone is bio-unique, so what works for one person might not be right for another. A deeper dive, often including lab work, helps us tailor the right plan. The important thing is not to ignore those concerns, but to seek care from providers who are trained to listen and evaluate the whole picture.
Do you have a favorite patient success story?
One that really stands out was a woman in her early 50s. At her initial consult, she was in tears, struggling with painful intimacy and a complete lack of desire. When she came back for a follow-up, she shared that she and her husband had been intimate for the first time in six years—and she was smiling ear to ear. That moment was life-changing for her, and it’s stories like that that remind me how powerful these treatments can be.
Which treatments have surprised you the most?
PRF joint injections have been impressive. I’ve seen patients experience significant relief after just one treatment. MorpheusV is another; some patients have reported 80% improvement in incontinence, with one woman telling me she no longer needed daily pads. That’s a game changer for quality of life.
What’s one thing you wish more people knew about regenerative treatments?
That you don’t have to settle for feeling “off.” So many people chalk it up to aging, but feeling well again is often just a treatment or two away. Many don’t realize how poorly they’ve been feeling until they finally experience what “better” feels like.
How do aesthetics and regenerative care complement each other?
They really go hand in hand. On the aesthetic side, treatments can restore collagen and improve skin health, while regenerative therapies work internally to restore energy, balance, and vitality. Together, they create a whole-person transformation—helping patients look and feel like themselves again.
Where do you see hormone replacement and regenerative medicine heading in the next decade?
I see bioidentical hormone therapy becoming a mainstay in anti-aging medicine. More studies are coming out all the time showing the broad systemic benefits, and I expect access, research, and adoption will only continue to grow.
What’s your favorite part about working with RegenCen?
The opportunity to truly change lives. Whether it’s relieving symptoms, restoring confidence, or helping patients feel like themselves again, being part of that transformation is incredibly rewarding.
And just for fun—if you weren’t in medicine, what would you be doing? What’s your coffee order?
I’d probably be traveling or maybe teaching—I’ve always enjoyed education and sharing knowledge. And for coffee? My favorite order is an iced brown sugar espresso with cinnamon cold foam.
